I am a 26 year-old programmer (or older by the time you read this). I’m currently living in Albuquerque. I used to work for Matterform Media and Clearwired Web Services as a programmer, web developer and Unix administrator. I am currently available for UNIX admin, database design, and programming on a contract basis. I have a BS in Computer Science from New Mexico Tech and a minor in philosophy. On 5 Nisan 5766 (April 3rd 2006) I converted to Judaism in the Conservative movement. I was a founding member of a collegiate academic excellence group called Clan Spum. I was once a proud exponent of Gentoo Linux but lately I am more of an Apple fan. My favorite music is metal, especially Mekong Delta. I was once an anarchist but now I don’t know what to call it. I am not well-read but I am very fond of HP Lovecraft and Emerson and the writings of Chuang Tzu (in addition to the Torah, of course). I am a programming language enthusiast, and have used about 8 in my jobs to date. Currently I am obsessed with Lisp and Haskell. Previously, I was quite fond of Erlang, OCaml and Ruby.
